Various Informations
The Federation of Mansuria Kung-Fu offers several types of tournaments (in France). They include:
- technical tournaments unarmed;
- technical tournaments with weapons;
- technical tournaments known stylized (animal styles);
- kicks tournaments;
- fighting tournaments (the federal fighting tournament is called Mansuria Fight);
- fighting tournaments with weapon(s) (nunchaku, etc);
- breaking tournament.

Tournaments results
General course of tournaments
All participants must attend at least half an hour before the start of the tournament. They must present:
- their Federal card (signed) with the stamp of the licensing season;
- their parental consent for those under 18;
- their medical certificate for the current season (no medical waiver will be accepted).
The documents of engagement (taos and / or fight) are returning at least 30 days before the date of the tournament (no registration will be done locally).
Participants who are not licensed, but part of a particular group or association (eg in multi-style tournaments) must pay a fee of 10 € for participation in any tournament. They receive for it a coupon that will approve their insurance.
For technical tournaments (traditional taos, stylized, with arms or kicks):
- they run barefoot with the holding of the school (pants, t-shirt or jacket);
- belt representing the level of the practitioner must be paid;
- it is possible to register in all categories (ie traditional tao, stylized, with arms and kicks);
- no time limit is imposed;
- for taos with weapon(s), no distinction is made between different types of weapons;
- the so-called stylized taos should represent a single style throughout it (tiger, snake, drunken, etc.);
- time for kicks forms is 15 seconds for less than 18 years, and 25 seconds for over 18 years. Acrobatics such as bows, wheels ... are permitted when they are followed by one or more kicks.
For fighting tournaments:
- they run barefoot with trousers and t-shirt to school;
- protections are:
- for children under 12 years: protects teeth, chest, gloves closed helmet, shin guards and shell-off.
- aged 12 to 18: protects the teeth, closed gloves, helmet, shell, shin guards and chest protector-up for girls.
- for over 18 years: protects the teeth, shells, gloves and chest protector open for girls.
- mittens are prohibited;
- coaching is permitted;
- fighting (Mansuria Fight) will be held in two rounds of 2 minutes each (with a rest period of 1 minute 30) or in a single round of 3 minutes;
- fighting with a weapon take place in one round of 2 minutes. In addition to the usual protections, the contestant must wear a helmet.
Note to non-affiliated associations
Some tournaments offered by the Federation of Mansuria Kung-Fu are also available to unlicensed students who practice another Kung-Fu (technical tournaments) or other martial art and combat sport (fighting tournaments).
Associations will be asked a fee of 10 € per person wishing to participate in the tournament. The Federation will send back a voucher confirming their insurance desired for the tournament.

Precision about Mansuria Fight
You will find below the rules of Mansuria Fight, and the gestures of the referee (documents in French).
Present rules concern the fight. Several reasons:
- In order to organize inter-styles fighting (kicks and punches are the common basis for these fights).
- To guarantee the stability in time of fight rules, the regulations based on international guidelines that occur regularly for some schools. The fight with kicks and punches, the rules are changing slightly, promotes stability.
The rules of fight of the FMKF enable practitioners to be fully expressed in their art, in conditions as close as possible to the reality of a fight: pace (Case Referees stationed at a minimum), accounting for the actual keys (strength and power are taken into account) , no points if the opponent out of the combat area ... The regulation emphasizes the mastery of techniques and allows the expression of the style of each school.
We urge you to read this regulation, to be aware of its specificity. The arbitral settlement has also been developed in conjunction with the settlement of fight.
Registration Forms for affiliated associations
The forms of engagement (Taos and / or fight) are returning at least 30 days before the date of the tournament (no registration will be made on site), registration is free for licensees.
Parental permissions are required for minors and their absence would prevent participation. They will be presented during the call for participants on tournament day.
