The Federation of Mansuria Kung-Fu (FMKF)

The Federation of Mansuria Kung-Fu was created in 2008, october 30th in Arras (Pas-De-Calais, France) This style is not so known in France, the Mansuria Kung-Fu is yet well developed in the world, including India. In these recent years, it tends to be present in the French territory, with the increasing number of practitioners and clubs dedicated to its practice. The creation of a Federation of Mansuria Kung-Fu is part of this dynamic, with a view to preserving what makes it unique compared to other martial arts and to respect better the existing regulatory work.
To understand a little more why the creation of this Federation was vital, we can wonder about its objectives, its fundamental values, and its actions.

Its Objectives

  • Enable the dissemination and development of Mansuria Kung-Fu in France;
  • Allowing the expression of the specific Mansuria Kung-Fu in formal competitions, and exams;
  • Benefit practitioners of a high quality education in supervising the training of some persons (experts' involvement in the discipline);
  • Promote a high standard of practice, promoting respect for traditional values of Kung-Fu (discipline, self-respect and for others, work).

Its Values

  • Individual merit is an important part to learn (the training takes time, the student have to work hard);
  • Encourage personal growth through the practice of art that is transmitted;
  • Confirming the specificity of Mansuria style and respect other styles;
  • Treat on the same level all the structures that join the Federation.

Its Program of action

  • Establishment of inter martial arts competitions, competitions including breaks, weapons, taos, etc.;
  • Establishing fighting rules of combat to allow a particular style to people who practice and give a steady rhythm during a fight;
  • Specific training for judges referees;
  • Determine the main points of development in connection with the Mansuria Kung-Fu International.
